WiFi surveys

A Wi-Fi survey is the process of evaluating, planning, and mapping out a wireless network’s signal, coverage, and performance across a physical space. Most commonly used in business premises or larger homes, it helps find the best placement for access points, eliminate dead zones, and resolve interference from other devices.

Network Data Services have invested in purpose-built Ekahau Wi-Fi survey and analysis equipment. This allows us to collect accurate RF measurements, visualise wireless performance, and translate survey data into a practical network designs.

We can work with existing plans of buildings, where available, but also have the option to map out a building footprint using the Ekahau equipment. This ensures a full WiFi survey can be collated into a detailed report and ensures our customers are confident in the WiFi coverage once installed.
