Project Overview
Westons Cider are based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, with a long family history of premium cider-making going back to 1880. Their ciders are widely available, locally and nationally as well as in over 44 countries globally.
What was the requirement?
Westons Cider have expanded significantly over recent years to meet a wider global demand for their products. Our partnership with them began in 2022 and installations have included a variety of our services across their main Mill and Head Office, as well as a new distribution centre in Ledbury to meet their expansion requirements.
Considerations
Network Data Services designed solutions alongside Weston Cider’s IT department to ensure each project, was designed to meet quick turnaround requirements and ensure minimal disruption to the office staff and production lines.
Solutions
Our completed projects for the main site and new distribution centre include site–wide Paxton Door Access Control Systems, site-wide IP CCTV, Network infrastructure and backbone cabling upgrades – using both Cat6 and OM4 Fibre optic cabling, Network cabling for access point installation, Network infrastructure for production line machinery and a custom network installation for all on-site energy meters, to allow for energy consumption reporting.
We also completed networking for their new offices, installed AV solutions for meeting rooms and their boardroom, including wireless HDMI solutions. In addition, we installed a sound system and display screens in their Visitors Centre.
