Wireless Networks

Network Data Services specialise in the installation of wireless networks for commercial buildings. We can add to and adapt existing wired networks to create a wireless network by installing a range of wireless access points, which can be strategically placed to provide maximum wireless coverage. All access points installed are dual band 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless frequency and can be ceiling or wall mounted.

We can also provide and install wireless bridges between buildings on the same site or multiple sites, if there is no opportunity to use copper or fibre optic cabling to connect a network between buildings. We achieve this by using wireless point to point or point to multi point links configured specifically for your network requirement. This type of installation can also be utilised to share broadband services across multiple sites, thus reducing the requirement for additional copper or fibre broadband services to be installed. Distances that can be achieved for wireless links can be from as little as a few metres right up to 15km!

We use Ubiquiti, EnGenius, TP Link Omada and Draytek wireless access points that can be installed both internally, externally or even in-wall, with the range capacity to meet individual business requirements. A long-range wireless access point can a provide signal for up to 1500sqft and reach speeds of up to 10Gbps.
